Lina. I stumbled upon this name while browsing a list of Swedish female names on Wikipedia. After some hesitation , it stayed. It may mean nothing — or it may mean everything. It could simply be Lina, in Polish, as in Polish it means a rope: strong, steady, a thread that binds worlds together. We might say it comes from the Latin linum — flax, golden flax like her fur.
